The Itinerary Agreement:
Day 1Arriver in Beijing(D)
Our guide will pick you up at Beijing airport and drive you to the hotel. You are free for the rest of the day to explore the city.

Day 2Beijing(BLD)
After breakfast, you will visit the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven.

Day 3Beijing(BLD)
One day excursion to Mutianyu Great Wall. Beijing Roasted Duck dinner served at the original, century-old Qianmen Quan Ju De Restaurant in the evening. (We will arrange special dinner for you if you are a vegetarian).

Day 4Beijing--Xian(BLD)
Visit the Summer Palace in the morning. Take flight to Xian and transfer to hotel. Visit the City Wall in the afternoon.

Day 5Xian(BLD)
Visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. In the afternoon, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. You will enjoy the wonderful Tang Dynasty Dance & Music Show in the evening.

Day 6Xian--Xining(BLD)
Visit the Great Mosque in the morning. Take flight to Xining and transfer to hotel.

Visit the Ta'er Monastery and the Dongguan Mosque. You are free for the rest of the day to explore the city.

Day 8 Xining-- Lhasa via Golmud(BLD)
One day excursion to Qinghai Lake, China’s largest inland salt water lake at 3200 meters above sea level. You will also have a cruise there to photograph its beautiful scenery. Later, the group will drive westwards to visit the Bird Island, a paradise for varieties of birds. In the late afternoon, the group will be back to the city and have dinner before taking the Xining-Lhasa Train which will stop over at Golmud the next morning.

Day 9Golmud-- Lhasa(BLD)
This morning, the tourist train will stop for a while at Golmud, the second largest city in Qinghai Province. There are nine sightseeing platforms designed on the Golmud-Lhasa section to give passengers the opportunity to view the plateau landscape. There are Yuzhong Peak, Mt. Kunlun, Chuma'er River, Tuotuo River, Mt. Danggula, Amdo Cuona Lake, Nakchu, Dangxiong, and Yambajan. Each one allows 30-50 minutes to take photos and view the beautiful scenery. You will arrive in Lhasa at 22:30. Upon arrival, our guide will pick you up at the station and drive you to the hotel.

Day 10 Lhasa(BLD)
Visit the Potala Palace and the Jokhang Temple. In the afternoon, enjoy some leisure time in Barkhor Street for shopping and to look at some of the local crafts.

Day 11 Lhasa(BLD)
Visit the Norbulingka, the Trupeng Monastery, the Sera Monastery and visit a Tibetan family to experience Tibetan life style in the afternoon.
These important monasteries were constructed as a summer palaces for the Dalai Lama and later served the whole governmental administration.

Day 12Lhasa/ Gyangze(Jiangzi) (BLD)
After breakfast in the hotel, the group will drive some 300km to Gyangtse. On the way, take a look at Yomdrok Lake and Kalais Kora Glacier.
In the afternoon, when arrive at Gyantse, take a visit of Pelkor Chode Monastery.

Day 13 Gyangze-- Shigatse(BLD)
Today, you will drive 90km westwards to Shigatse, the second largest city in Tibet. After lunch in the city, visiting Tashilhunpo Monastery which is painted in red and white and the buildings in the monastery stand closely together in terraced rows, offering a great view of the surrounding country side.

Day 14 Shigatse--Chongqing via Lhasa(BLD)
Drive back to the Lhasa Airport and take direct flight to Chongqing.
Upon arrival Chongqing, our guide will pick you up at the airport and help you board Cruises vessel.

Day 15 Yangtze River(BLD)
Today you will arrival at either Fengdu, known as the "Ghost City", or Wanxian, or Shibaozhai (depending on river conditions) for sightseeing. Then, return to the cruise and pass towards the fantastic Three Gorges.

Day 16Yangtze River(BLD)
Today you get into the Qutang Gorge. Cruise ship carefully pilots its way through the narrow course. At Wushan, disembark the cruise and board smaller vessels in order to explore either the Daning River or Shennong Stream. Return to the cruise and sail through the Wu Gorge in the afternoon.

Day 17Yichang --Shanghai(BLD)
Pass through the Xiling Gorge which is the longest and historically the most dangerous of the Three Gorges. You will move on to the massive Three Gorges Dam and disembark for a sightseeing.

Cruise Arrival in Yichang at 11:30AM. Transfer from cruise to airport, take flight to Shanghai by Shanghai Airways FM366 (16:00-17:30).

Day 18 Shanghai (BLD)
Visit the Qibao Old Town, the Yuyuan Garden and the Bund. The memorable dinner will be followed by the Acrobatic Show at the Shanghai Centre Theatre.
