Yamdroktso Lake

Yamdroktso-the Holy Lake 100 km away to the west of Lhasa City is one of the three Tibetan holy lakes -Yamdroktso Lake. The lake covers an area of above 600 square kilometers. To the east and west of the lake stand two mountains with eternal snow to provide endless water source for the lake. Dozens of peaks stand in the deep and blue lake water with wild doves flying above. Fish caught in the lake serve delicious dishes.
