Day1 Arr BeijingOur guide will welcome you at the airport and then transfer you to hotel. You are free to explore the city for the rest of the day.
D02 Beijing (BL)A full day city tour to the centre of Beijing Tiananmen Square, the largest downtown square in the world. Go on to visit the Forbidden City, the home of 24 emperors built in the Ming Dynasty. In the afternoon visit Temple of Heaven where the Ming and Qing emperors worshiped the God for good harvest. In the evening, you will enjoy the charming Kung Fu Show.
D03 Beijing (BL)One-day excursion to Great Wall (include one way cable car), one of the greatest man-made wonders in the world and also is a symbol of Chinese history. Then go on to visit the Ming Tomb, the tomb for the first emperor of Ming dynasty Zhu Yuanzhang . In the afternoon, visit the National Stadium---Bird Nest, the place held the Olympic Games in 2008 on your way to Beijing downtown. Then you can enjoy the delicious Peking Roast Duck at the famous Quanjude Restaurant in the evening and this is an Option item. (Vegetarian meal is available for the vegetarian).
D04 Beijing/Xi’an (BL)This morning go to visit the Summer Palace, the original imperial garden to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Then visit the largest and most perfectly preserved lamasery Lama Temple and the discovery the traditional old Beijing living style by tricycle Beijing Hutong Tour. Take afternoon flight to the most ancient imperial city Xi’an, Xi’an local guide will welcome you up at the airport, You are free to explore the city for the rest of the day.
D05 Xi’an (BL)This morning go to visit highlight of Xi’an tour---Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum. It has high reputation as Eighth Wonder of the World, and was listed by UNESCO in 1987 as one of the world cultural heritages. It is the mausoleum of the first emperor who united the whole China. There are thousands of solders and weapons. Following proceed to visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda after lunch. This is the famous eminent monk Xuanzang in order to preserve the Buddhist scripture he took from India in Tang dynasty. You will absorb many details about the Buddhism over here. Except that some interesting story during the way Monk Xuanzhang went to India. In the evening, you can enjoy the delicious local flavor---dumpling banquet and enjoy the wonderful Tang dynasty Dancing show which will take you back to the peak of the Chinese ancient time.
D06 Xi’an /Dunhuang (BLD)This morning go to visit the City Wall, which was built as military defense system during Ming dynasty. It is the most completed and best preserved city wall in China. You can have a good bird view of Xi’an city on it. Following proceed to visit the Muslim street to enjoy kinds of local snacks and Great Mosque. Take the afternoon flight to Dunhuang. Our guide will pick up you at airport, Dunhuang is a famous passage on the silk road . It is also the western doorway of the Hexi Corridor. After lunch, Visit the Sound Sand-Hill (ride camel for a short time) and Moon-Crescent Spring (Yueya Quan). The Sound Sand-Hill is made up of colorful sand that causes it to look like a hill of grain; the hill is more than forty kilometers from east to west and twenty kilometers from north to south. It is exciting to slide down from the top of the hill on the sand. The Crescent Spring is surrouned by Sounding-sand Hill. Unbelievable, the wind never blows the sand into the spring, On Duanyang Festival; local people come here to worship for good luck. Have dinner in the local restaurant. If you like you could enjoy the Flying Singing and Dancing Show (Optional).
D07 Dunhuang to Turpan (BLD)After breakfast, you will travel to the famous Mogao Grottoes which display a very colorful and descriptive world in the paintings of : Buddha, illustrations of Buddhist scriptures. The stories of ghosts on the earth, stores explaining the tenets of Buddhism, the development of Buddhist history, sacrificial ceremonies, and some paintings apparently just for decoration. After dinner, we will take overnight train (Soft bed Train) to Turpan.
D08 Turpan (BLD)You will arrive at Turpan in the morning, Tupan is a famouse historial city, the climate of Turpan Basin is dry and hot and it seldom rains. After breakfast, we will visit Jiaohe Ancient Ruins, the ancient ruins of key city on silk road, many ruins are well preserved. Follows proceed to visit the Karez Well that is an ingenious underground irrigation system that created on oasis I the extraordinarily arid area of Turpan. After Lunch, visit the Flaming Mountain, the red sandstone of Houyan Shan gives the mountain its reddish hues, and the mountain looks fiery under the sun at noon. Then, we will go to Gaochang Ruins, Astana Ancient Tombs and Bizaklik Thousand Buddha Caves. The most families in Turpan have their own grape trellis and orchards. The Grape Valley in Turpan has become a famous tourist spot. And then go to Urumqi, check in Hotel
D09 Turpan/Kuqa (BLD)After breakfast, Transfer from Turpan to Kuqa, You will visit Tianshan Grand Canyon which starts north from Dushanzi, end in the South at Kuqa, runs through Heaven Mountain. You will arrive the city of rich cultural heritage and ethic features city Kuqa in the afternoon. Check in the hotel and have rest.
D10 Kuqa (BLD)The ancient state of Qiuci was located in the area now known as Kuqa County and is the main settlement of Uighur People. You will visit Kuqa Mosque stands in Kuqa city quiet and solemn. The 14th century architectural was built for Maola and Eshdy, its building have been developed recently into an Islam study school. Then visit Kizilgaha Beacon Tower which stands for 16 meter high, the alarm tower built during Han dynasty, it is the oldest and most well preserved alarm tower on the northern route of the Silk Road. You will visit Kizik Thousand Buddha Cave which is the largest containing 251 caves. The elegant cave paintings that remain today are recognized worldwide for the embossing skills used to create these three-dimensional pictures.
D11 Kuqa/Hotan (BLD)Hotan is known as Yutian, is the southern most city in Xinjiang, to the north of this city is the Taklimakan Desert. You will go across Taklimakan desert and could observe camels are still be used as transportation method in desert area. And the proceed to visit Tarim Lake, the reeds create the perfect habitat for numerous bird and fish species. Please never miss the chance to enjoy a delicious fish fest in one of the floating restaurants on this charming lake. You also could visit populous euphratica forest.
D12 Hotan (BLD)You could observe the ancient silk reeling methods which are still used among Hotan local women. Entering a textile factory, a carpet factory that you will witness the busting exchange of the trade. The jade in Hotan is high quality, Following, you will visit Dragon Jade River; most of jade comes from the river.
D13 Hotan/Kashgar (BLD)You will visit Shache Imperial Tomb， and transfer to Kashgar by coach.
D14 Kashgar (BLD)After breakfast, you will transfer to Kashgar, which is one of the four big towns in Anxi during Tang Dynasty and as one of the great Moslem cities of Western Religion during Ming Dyansty. You will visit Fragrant Imperial Concubine Tomb. It is said that not only the concubine and her clothes were buried here, but Abakh Hoja, a famous Islamic missionary, and his descendants were also buried here. proceed to visit Kashgar Ancient Town, you could observe the different living style in the west end of China, acquired the local customer, traditional goods. And then, visit Id Kah Mosque which is the largest Mosque in Xinjiang. And this mosque is the main place for kashgar moslems to carry out their religious activities. D15 Kashgar/ Urumqi (BLD)In the morning, take the fight to Urumqi. We will go to visit the Heaven Mountain and the Heavenly Lake (including the ropeway and cruise), Heaen Lake was once Know as Yaochi, with many stories and picturesque surroundings this fair land is special indeed. An ancient poem tells that a Western Queen once lived here, the king of china come to visit, and finally they fell in love. Enjoy your shopping in Xinjiang International Big Bazzar which is the place with the unique construction located in two bridges; it attracts the lots of tourists to visit, shopping and watch the traditional dancing.
D16Urumqi /Shanghai (BL)Take the morning flight to Shanghai. Our guide will pick you up from airport; enjoy the night view of the Bund area which is a symbol of Shanghai city. The bund reflects the vibrancy and gaiety of the city’s early days through a bustling view of the Huang Pu River on one side and old banks and villas on the other. Transfer to the hotel, the rest of the day is free for you.
D17 Shanghai (BL)Visit one of five Shanghai’s ancient gardens-Yu Yuan Garden which is built in a style derived from Suzhou, a city of gardens in the vicinity of Shanghai. The dragon walls, brick carving and iron lions make it a stand out among the five. Following proceed to visit Shanghai Museum, which is a large museum collected huge of ancient Chinese art. After lunch we prepared for you, enjoy the cruise tour along Huangpu River you could have glimpse of Yangpu Bridge, Nanpu Bridge, and oriental TV tower on the other side of bund. Take on the third highest TV and radio tower in world- Oriental TV Tower, which is 485 meters high. You could have a bird view of Shanghai full picturesque. In the evening, enjoy the fantastic Acrobatic Show which is soul of Chinese art.
